Chicken kondattom

Chicken kondattom is  a delicious Kerala chicken preparation in which the chicken is coated with a thick batter and fry it. After that do a  nice seasoning for it.

Ingredients for marinating the Chicken:

chicken- 1/2 kg (prefer boneless pieces)
turmeric powder- 1/4 tsp
kashmiri cilly powder- 2 tsp
ginger garlic paste- 1 tbsp
curd- 2 tbsp
salt-to taste
flour-1 tbsp
corn flour-1 tbsp

Marinate the chicken pieces with all other ingredients.
Let it rest for at least 2 hours in fridge and deep fry it in hot oil until nicely cooked.
drain in to paper towels and keep aside.

Ingredients for Seasoning:

minced garlic- 1 tbsp
dry red chilly- 4 nos
curry leaves- 3 springs
coriander leaves chopped- 1 handful
tomato ketchup-1 tbsp

Heat 2 tbsp of oil from the chicken fried oil,
Add minced garlic and saute for a minute.
Add splitted dry red chill and  curry leaves.
Add tomato ketchup and fried chicken pieces; mix well.
switch off the flame and add coriander leaves.
Serve hot with the choice of your roti or rice.
